Every Christmas Eve, the girls have slept with me and Kelly. The reason for this is the girls wake up super early every morning and come get in the bed with us. We did not want the girls to walk in on "Santa"; however, this year we decided they were big enough to sleep in their own bedrooms. Claire came into our room very early, but crawled in our bed and went back to sleep. Ava woke up about 7:00 and came into our room to wake us up. Kelly asked her if Santa had come yet and she said, "Yes, and it's awesome in there!" Kelly went on in to the living room to video the girls' reaction to their gifts.
Both girls were so excited and they got many nice things. They both got a recliner, clothes, a DVD, books, cars, mega blocks, puzzles, biker boots, make-up, and a princess adventure hut. Ava got some art supplies and Claire got some things for her room. Kelly got a tree stand and I got a printer (that I desperately needed). The girls had such a wonderful time playing with their stuff and could not wait to watch their DVDs (Beauty and the Beast & Toy Story 3).
