VBS 2011

Tonight was the last night of Vacation Bible School at church.  Our theme this year was Big Apple Adventure.  I helped teach the 2s, 3s, and pre-k classes this year.  The kids learned so much about Jesus' love and my girls really got into the singing and worshiping part of VBS.  Each night the kids had a Bible story, a craft to go along with the story, music class, recreation time, and a skit.  At the end of the night, all the kids gathered in the sanctuary to praise God and learn more about Jesus' love.  In addition, the cause we raised money for this year was disaster relief.  I am happy to report that $1247.09 (or close) was raised to help with disaster relief!!  That is awesome!!  It is so important to teach our children about helping others.  Below are a few pictures at VBS!
