We are slowly getting settled in our new home. It is a challenge to move from an almost 3,000 sq. ft. home to about a 1700 sq. ft. home. However, we are making it work and it is working out a lot better than I thought. We are selling some furniture that we no longer need, have room for, or will not be taking with us when we build again. Other than that, all of our other furniture has fit perfectly in the house. We still have lots of items in storage containers and lots of things in our trailer that needs storing. Kelly has ordered a shop and it should be shipped and installed soon. Once we get the shop, that will finish clearing out what is left in the house, trailer, and carport.
The house is cozy. It is a three bedroom, two bath and has two living rooms which is perfect with the girls' toys. We have lovingly named the girls' living room, "the kid living room". Claire and Julianna are sharing a room and Ava has her own. The girls and I share the bigger bathroom while Kelly has the master to himself. The master bath is extremely small with no storage...perfect for him.
We are so excited to be out on the farm! Everyone is loving it but no one more than Claire. She is outside every afternoon with Kelly checking deer cameras, working in the field behind the house, helping him build or fix something, running the dirt roads, etc.
We will continue to get settled and I am excited about being back home and for my girls to grow up where I did!
