We have just returned from an awesome vacation in Delaware and Washington D.C.! My aunt and uncle live in Dover, DE and we have wanted to visit them for quite sometime. Kelly and I finally decided to go this summer and visit Washington D.C. as well. We left immediately after our last day of work before the summer began and drove late into the night. We spent the night in North Carolina and got up early the next morning to finish our drive to Delaware. We took the route that went through Chesapeake, VA. We thought the girls would love going through the Chesapeake Bay tunnel; and they did!We finally arrived at Aunt Connie and Uncle Mike's house around 5:00 that afternoon. After a delicious meal prepared by Aunt Connie we turned in for the night. And can I just say that Uncle Mike and Aunt Connie have a home built for guests. The entire top floor was ours and it was amazing with three bedrooms, a large bath, and a living area!! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Quarnaccio Resort! We had a wonderful trip and the next few posts will highlight our favorite parts!
