Charlton Cheer Camp
Ava and Claire have gone with Kelly to work the last three days to attend cheer camp. While he has been working, they have been learning cheers and a dance. Today all the girls put on a show for their parents to showcase what they had learned. Julianna and I got up, got dressed, and made the drive down to see the big girls show their stuff! Claire was in the "Ladybug" group and Ava was in the "Glitzy Girls" group. The groups were determined by age and each group had a chance to perform for their parents. After each group performance, all of the girls did a few cheers together and a dance. Ava and Claire did such a good job and they thoroughly enjoyed it! I was so happy to see some of the old school cheers like "Fire Cracker, Fire Crakcer, Boom-Boom-Boom" and "F-I-G-H-T (open the barn doors kick out the hay...)" making a come back. After the performance we had lunch with Kelly at The Okefenokee then the Murray girls headed home. Ava and Claire had a great time and can't wait until July when they have a cheer camp in our hometown.
