Christmas Plays

Ava has been in two Christmas plays in the last couple of weeks. She was a Nazarene girl in the mini-play at church and she was Mary in the play at her school. There are three things I have learned by watching Ava in these plays: 1) When she is dressed up, she looks like what I imagine a Nazarene girl would look like 2) She loves "practicing" for her parts and 3) No matter how much personality and confidence she has, she can be shy! She was to sing a solo (Silent Night) at her school play, but got a little shy when it came time for her to sing. She said her lines very well and was so precious! After the play at school, refreshments were served and the kids exchanged books with each other. Ava was especially happy that her Grandma and Papa got to go.
