Every Christmas Eve, the Walker family gathers together at Gigi & Papa's house to eat, open gifts, and spend time together. This year the girls were super excited about going to Papa and Gigi's house. The first thing we did was eat our traditional meal of spaghetti. We always have spaghetti because we are usually sick of the "traditional" Christmas food. After we ate, all the little kids helped Aunt Cassie & Aunt Quincy pass out the gifts. In years past, the four little kids opened their
gifts at the same time, but this year we decided to let one kid open at the time (from youngest to oldest)
so we could enjoy seeing their faces as they opened their gifts. I just knew Ava would not sit and watch Owen, Claire, and Olivia open their gifts before her, but she did! She was very patient! Ava and Claire got all kinds of toys and this year was the debut of the Barbie! All of the girls got Barbies and Ava got a Barbie car! The Barbie car was a source of argument for Ava and Claire. Needless to say, purchasing another Barbie car will be in the near future for the Murray family! The four little kids got a very nice Disney suitcase from Gigi and Papa filled with all kinds of goodies! The adults received very nice gifts as well, but I think everyone's favorite part is watching the little kids get so excited about opening their gifts.
After a fun-filled evening, we all headed home to get ready for a visit from the big guy...Santa!
