Race to the Finish

Today was the first grade play performance at school.  The performance was titled Race to the Finish.  It was the story of the tortoise and the hare as acted by the first grade students.  I was able to go to the 1:00 performance and it was precious!  Ava was the bear, her friend Emily was the tortoise and Emily's twin brother was the hare.  There were several other students who played birds, a woodchuck and fox.  The rest of the grade was the chorus.  Ava had a speaking part and a solo.  It was so adorable and Ava loved being part of it!  The first grade teachers and students did a great job!
