We began our morning in Hollywood Studios by eating breakfast with Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Handy Mandy and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates were also there, but our focus was Sofia and Doc. Sofia and Doc are Julianna's favorite Disney Junior characters. We have watched every episode of each one and we have all of the stuffed animals/people that go with each show, as well as their costumes. Gigi and Papa joined us for this but Lealane, Brian and the kids were headed to Jedi training. The breakfast was a delicious buffet of anything and everything. As we started making our plates we caught our first glimpse of Sofia and Doc. Julianna could hardly stand it! Each character went to each table so that everyone would have an opportunity for a one-on-one encounter. It was hard to wait but Julianna did her best by eating yummy pancakes with strawberry preserves.
Sofia was the first to arrive. Julianna was a little star struck but quickly warmed up and gave her a tight hug. Julianna was also wearing her Sofia shirt and Sofia liked that. After pictures and another hug, Sofia waved good-bye. Next was Doc. Julianna was standing at the ready with her Doc book and pen. **Aside: on our first couple of trips to Disney with Ava and Claire, we brought along each princess's Little Golden Book story for them to sign. We thought this would be nice to have as our girls could pass it down to their children.** Doc signed her book and Julianna gave her a tight hug. Her little face was pure delight! Doc waved good-bye and we made our way out into the park. That was a great way to start off our vacation!
