Animal Kingdom

The Animal Kingdom is always a favorite of the family.  The girls really enjoy looking at the animals and the jungle feel that the Animal Kingdom provides.  The shows, rides, and encounters are always so well done and everything is a little different each time.  Below are some of our highlights of the Animal Kingdom.

Expedition Everest was definitely a highlight.  Mainly because I actually rode the ride!  I am not a coaster girl but I was determined to ride some coasters with my girls.  Mama and Daddy did not ride it so they watched Julianna and Claire.  However, the rest of us braved the Yeti.  Admittedly, I felt yucky after I got off of the ride but was happy that I rode it.  Ava loved it and rode it again later on the in the day with Kelly.

The jungle safari is always a favorite.  The animals are so close and it feels like we are truly in Africa.

The Nemo show and The Festival of the Lion King were excellent shows!  The kids sat on the front row to the aisle and this is where many of the characters came by.  These shows are always a favorite.

I'm saving the best for last.  My favorite part of this day was Kali River Rapids.  Not because it is the most awesome ride in the park.  It is awesome but what made it so fun is that all eleven of us rode it together.  Many rides will not hold that many people together or someone has to sit out with Julianna  However, this ride sat a party of 12 and Julianna was able to ride.  It was a water ride so we all got wet and that is what made it so fun!  The kids were so excited and everyone was laughing through the entire ride.  Julianna and I seemed to get a little wetter than everyone else.  The kids had a ball!
