Storehouse

Today our GA girls participated in our church's Store House.  Store House is a monthly free meal provided by our church for anyone in our community.  Before the meal, we have music and Brother Bill shares a word.  Tonight was our Thanksgiving Store House meal and I really wanted the girls to serve the people who showed up and also eat with these people.  We had thirteen girls show up to help and they worked hard.  Too hard maybe:)  They were so excited about helping that they would almost pounce on people as they walked out with their food, eagerly asking if they could get their drink.  This made my heart smile!  They served plates to people who were unable to make their own, they got refills, and helped clear the tables.  After everyone was served, the girls got in line to make their plates.  This was a good lesson in learning to serve others before self.
