The Jacksonville Zoo ran an "all kids get in free" promotion during the week of November, so Lealane and I decided to take advantage of this opportunity! The zoo recently acquired a new tiger exhibit and we were anxious to see it! It did not disappoint! The kids loved seeing all of the animals but their focus was on the lorikeet aviary. The aviary is one of my girls' favorite things to do. However, when we walked in we were informed that the birds were eating slowly because people had been feeding them all day. The kids were so disappointed but we bought two cups of nectar to try anyway. I am happy to say that each kid had the chance for a bird to land on their hand and drink the nectar. Thank goodness!
