My Great-Granny Moore turned 100 years old March 1st. Today we celebrated that rare accomplishment by having a dinner with tons of family and friends. Not only were there lots of people, but lots of food as well. Any one who knows Granny Moore knows she always had a huge spread of food at any gathering at her house so it was only natural that we continue with that tradition. Up until a few years ago she was still living in her house by herself. Needless to say, for being 100 years old, she gets around good. Not only is Granny Moore a good cook but she was a good seamstress! The walls of the room were decorated in quilts she had made throughout her life. Her large doll collection was also on display as well as 100 balloons representing each year of her life! It was a good day! Happy Birthday Granny Moore and I hope I inherited your longevity gene!
