Today the girls participated in their second 1-mile fun-run. Since the race was called the Reindeer Run, each kid got to wear a pair of antlers as they ran! Ava had a time of 11 minutes and 22 seconds and Claire's time was 14 minutes and 38 seconds. I ran the one mile with Claire to encourage her to finish the race. After everyone finished, each kid got a medal...the highlight of the event! In addition, Ava's best friend Emily and her brother Clark were their to run the race also.  |
