Ava's Baptism

This morning at the beginning of church, Ava was baptized.  The last few weeks have been such an exciting time for our family with Ava accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior and waiting for her to be baptized today.  She has been so excited about this day!  She was not scared to go down into the baptistry and she was not scared to go under water.  Many of our family members were there to see her on this very important day and that meant so much to me, Kelly, and especially Ava.

As you will see from the pictures below, she looked like an angel in her white robe!  After the baptism we all went to eat at Captain Joe's.  Everyone enjoyed a good time together.

Once we left the restaurant, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Grandma and Grandpa had bought Ava a beautiful necklace that had an angel holding a star.  She was so excited!  What a wonderful gift to commemorate her baptism!
