A few nights ago Ava's gifted teacher from school texted me to see if Ava would be available to present a project she had been working on to the Board of Education. Only four students would be presenting and she wanted Ava to be one of them. Ava was very excited about this so she eagerly agreed to present. Ava has softball practice on Monday afternoons but she was able to leave just early enough to get to the board office, get changed, and find her group. Kelly, daddy, and myself went to support her.
I really did not know much about her project. All she told me was it was a project she had been working on at school using a program called PowToon and it was about what she wanted to be when she grew up. She got up, introduced herself, and told a little bit about her presentation. I was totally blown away by what she created and what she said in her presentation. She did a great job and handled herself very well in a room full of adults. Click on the video below to see her PowToon.
