Willy Wonka

For the last two years Ava has been a part of her elementary school's play.  They put on a big production and it really is quite impressive what a bunch of PreK - 5th graders can do.  This year was no exception.  The play this year was Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.  Ava tried out for a part and was awarded the party of Phineous Trout, the reporter.  Her character was responsible for interviewing each golden ticket winner.  This was her first year with actual speaking parts so she was very excited!  {She did speak some last year when she filled in as the narrator.}

This past Friday was the debut of the play.  There was a performance Friday night, Saturday night, and a Sunday matinee.  She had a large family turn-out to support her.  She did a great job each night and is becoming quite the actress!
