Beach Week 2013

Today we returned from our annual week long family beach vacation.  The weather was beautiful!  We shared a three bedroom condo with the Sanders family so the cousins were able to stay together in their own room.  Boy, did they think they were big stuff!  Our routine consisted of waking up whenever, eating whatever, and getting ready to go to the beach or pool.  Most days we went to the beach first.  I am so glad that the girls love being at the beach because it is my favorite.  This year Julianna was old enough to really enjoy the beach.  She loved the sand and spent most of her time walking back and forth from our umbrella to the surf to fill up her little pitcher.  Once again boogie boarding, bocce ball, and shell searching were favorite activities.

We look forward to beach week all year because it is a time to be with our extended family.  Everyone is so busy during the year that it is hard to get all 26 of us on the same schedule.  However, we all make beach week a priority and once it's here, we eat, sleep, and breathe family!  It is awesome!  Making memories to last a lifetime!!
