The Wednesday after school got out was my first official day of summer. To celebrate, the girls and I had a picnic outside. Kelly was not able to join us because he had to work that day. Ava has been asking for quite some time to have a picnic, and that day was a perfect day to do it. The sky was clear and the wind was blowing, it was not hot at all...perfect! On the menu was delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, gold fish, water, and oatmeal cream pie for dessert. Aunt Quincy even made a guest appearance at the picnic.
