Claire loves science!! She loves to dig, explore, and is interested in everything science. She has a butterfly net, ant farm, bug box, bug encyclopedia book and just recently, a microscope. She received a microscope for Christmas this past year but it proved to not be a very good one. We returned it and after doing some research, ordered her a new one. She was so excited when it arrived today! It is a very nice microscope and came with several prepared slides and blank slides. Claire and Kelly spent all afternoon looking at everything from blood to pond water.
Claire also has a plant maze that allows her to plant a seed in the maze so she can see the process of how a plant develops. It started off with a few roots and then progressed to many roots and a shoot. Now, it is a big plant! Claire loves to see how things work and she loves science!
