Today the girls' school hosted their annual Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot is a 1 mile fun run for all elementary students. Each grade level runs separately and the top five girls and top five boys receive a medal. Ava has medaled the last three years but this was Claire's first year being able to participate. I am happy to say that Ava placed 5th in the girls category and Claire was first! My mama was able to attend the 1 mile fun run and she said Claire left everyone in a cloud of dust. I would have expected nothing less with those long legs:) Both girls were excited to have received a medal. I think we have some runners on our hands!
