Stop Hunger Now!!!

Today was packing day for Stop Hunger Now!  This is a wonderful ministry dedicated to helping stop hunger around the world.  You can visit the Stop Hunger Now website here.  This is how the packing went:

Take tons of ingredients, which included a vitamin pack, rice, soy, and dehydrated vegetables to the tables where...

Five people surrounding a funnel pack the ingredients....

Then "runners" take the bags to the measuring station where the "measurers" do...guess what...measure!  The bags had to weigh a certain amount so rice was either added or removed depending on the scale...

Next, the "sealers" used a neat tool that heat sealed the bags...
Then the "sealers" passed the bags to the boxers who put the bags in a large box....

Then onto the people taping the boxes up and onto the truck!

After 1,000 bags were packed, a chime would ring and everyone would sing praises! 



In order for this organization to come to our town, there had to be a guaranteed 10,000 meals packed.  Guess what?  70,062 meals were packed!!!  My God is an awesome God and can do ANYTHING!!!  All the glory of this day belongs to God!  And what an awesome day it was!!!
