Today at "school", the kids had a visit from a police officer and Mari Jane, the K-9 police dog. Ava had been so excited about Mari Jane's visit and that is all she has been talking about for the past several days. Mr. Jason, the police officer, showed the kids how Mari Jane found "bad" stuff and talked to them about safety. Each of the kids got to pet Mari Jane and they also got to sit in the police car. Kelly was on spring break this week so he was able to go to the school and share that experience with Ava. Claire is on the baby side and the babies were not able to go outside with the dog. It's a good thing because Claire is not crazy about dogs yet. Before Mr. Jason left he gave each of the kids a toy police kit that included sunglasses, handcuffs, walkie talkie, and more. They thought that was cool!!!
Ava- Aunt Lealane says that this is the only time we ever want to see you in a police car!
