Basketball season has been wonderful this year. Today was our last game and we won! Even though we lost a few games during the season, overall our team had a winning record. Ava played last year but this was Claire's first year playing basketball. Another first was Kelly being the coach for the team. I think he really enjoyed coaching and I know the girls loved having their daddy as their coach. Not only were Ava and Claire on the same team but so was Olivia! This made games so much easier to attend, especially for Gigi and Papa.
All of the girls did great and improved so much over the season. It was especially amazing to see how much Ava has improved since last year. She was a little timid last year and did not score a basket during the season. However, this year she was very aggressive and scored 33 points over the season! She was our team's main ball handler and just had a great season! Below is a video clip of her scoring a goal.

Claire did a great job and became more aggressive as the season went on. She even scored 2 points for us in a big game. I can't wait to see her in action next year! Great job girls!
Julianna enjoyed the basketball games because she would get popcorn and a lollipop to enjoy while the girls played. In addition, a few other girls on the team also had little sisters that attended the games. Here is a picture of Julianna and two of her "little sister" friends.
